The examples below identify the relevant KMS product family. Final fit is confirmed from the actual mounting geometry and measurements.
Select the Existing Bridge Architecture
Floyd Rose-Style Double-Locking Tremolo
Choose FlowTrem2 when replacing the complete tremolo system.
Choose KMS Upgrades when replacing selected compatible components of an existing Floyd Rose-style system.
Jaguar- or Jazzmaster-Style Offset Bridge
The relevant KMS product family is JAM.
JAM replaces the traditional rocking bridge principle with a fixed, non-rocking bridge body and six individually adjustable V-Rail saddles.
Compensated Wraparound Bridge
The relevant KMS product family is Whiptail.
Choose between Whiptail II, Whiptail Classic and Whiptail 50 according to the guitar’s actual stud position and resulting bridge angle—not by model name alone.
Tune-O-Matic, ABR-1 or Nashville-Style Bridge
The relevant KMS product family is ONE or Vintage ONE.
The correct version depends on the desired body material, saddle system and the guitar’s actual mounting architecture.
Three-Saddle Tele-Style Bridge
The relevant KMS product family is TV-Rails.
TV-Rails retain the traditional three-saddle architecture while adding compensated V-shaped string contacts and material-based Mix & Match options.
Not Sure Which Bridge You Have?
Do not select a replacement from appearance alone. Clear photographs of the bridge, posts and mounting area—together with relevant measurements—usually allow the system to be identified more reliably.
Narrow Down the Correct Version
After identifying the product family, consider how the guitar is used and what the upgrade is intended to achieve.
Complete System or Selected Components?
Choose FlowTrem2 for a complete KMS tremolo system.
Choose KMS Upgrades when selected compatible components of an existing Floyd Rose-style system should be replaced individually.
Fixed Bridge or Vibrato Use?
Regular string movement across the saddles can make a low-friction surface especially useful, while fixed applications with little string movement across the saddles can prioritize direct material contact.
This distinction is especially relevant for JAM, ONE, Vintage ONE and TV-Rails configurations.
Material and Response
Different bridge and saddle materials provide different KMS voicing profiles—from greater body and authority to a more open, lively or focused response.
Choose according to the guitar’s existing character and the intended result.
Before You Order
Confirm the actual mounting system, string geometry and intended application before selecting a specific product version.
Mounting and Dimensions
Depending on the bridge family, check the post-center spacing, post thread, bushing diameter, bushing depth, bridge height or tremolo-block clearance.
Strings and Setup
Confirm the string spacing, fretboard radius, string gauge, tuning and whether the G string is plain or wound.
Application and Upgrade Goal
Consider whether the guitar uses a fixed bridge or vibrato and whether the desired result is greater body, openness, definition, stability or lower-friction string movement.
